COMMUNITY RECREATION
The Village of Machesney Park along with the Forest Preserves of Winnebago County, Harlem Township, Illinois Department of Natural Resources, and the Rockford Park District, provide local residents with exceptional parks and recreational facilities for all ages and interests. From hiking, picnicking, and golfing to water sports and off-leash dog runs, the Village of Machesney Park area has something for everyone. Please see a directory of area parks below.

Please Note: Parks, playgrounds, and pavilions/shelters maintained by the Village of Machesney Park are reservation-free. Facilities may be occupied on a first come, first serve basis.

AREA BIKE PATHS
