2023 TeleCom Tax Rebate Program to Begin on July 1

Machesney Park seniors may be eligible for a tax rebate of up to $25 

MACHESNEY PARK, IL (June 28, 2023) – The Village of Machesney Park's annual TeleCom Tax Rebate program for eligible seniors begins next month. The TeleCom Tax Rebate program offers rebates on the telecommunications tax portion of telephone bills of up to $25 per household per year for income-eligible residents aged 65 years and over. Residents must provide proof of age, residence, income, and copies of their last 12 paid telephone bills. Applications will be accepted Monday, July 3, through Thursday, August 31, 2023.
